- Never leave a burning candle unattented. Even if you are leaving your home for a couple of minutes, extinguish all candles.
- Never fall asleep with candles burning.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Children are attracted to burning candles. Always keep watch on burning candles when children are around the home. A dog's wagging tail will send a candle flying. Cats love to jump and climb and have favorite places. Do not leaving burning candles in these places.
- Never move a candle while it's burning, container are extremely hot which will cause you to drop or spill the hot wax. A pillar candle will easily fall over under it's own weight causing burns.
- Place candles in safety glass and use proper holders when burning.
- Always burn candles on a heat resistant surface and on a stable, solid surface.
- Keep candles away from flammable objects: drapes, furniture, paper products, etc.
- It's not recommend to use candles in the dark. The possibility of falling or bumping into something will cause a fire.
- Do not store candles in refridgerator or freezer, this can cause cracking.
- Store candles in a cool place. Preferrably tempature should not exceed 85' F.
- Keep candle wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch to avoid excessive flame height.
- If flame is too high or large or begins to flicker, it's possible candle has been burning too long, extinguish, then cool, trim wick and relight. Soy candles when burned properly do not flicker.
- Burn container candles enough to have a melt pool all the way to edges for maximum candle life and to prevent "tunneling".
- Stop burning candles when a 1/2 inch of wax remains on the bottom.
- Make sure your wick stays centered.
- Enjoy your candles.
